Terms of Service

- Commissions made by the artist (MetalBotanist) are for non-commercial use only (ie. you may not reproduce for profit).
- Use of the artwork in AI training and AI image generators is prohibited.
- You may not use any commissions made by the artist in any blockchain-associated technologies, including (but not limited to) NFTs and cryptocurrency.
- The finished commission will be posted to the artist's social media unless you request it to be private. However, the artist will keep progress on commissions private (ie. the artist won’t be sharing sketches or sneak peeks to my stories or Twitter).
- You may repost the commission to your social media with the proper credit.
- Payment is upfront after commission confirmation.
- If you cancel the commission halfway through, the artist can only give you a half-refund.
- The artist is not responsible for loss of product once delivered.
- You are responsible for any additional import duty or tariff fees that may be required by your country.By paying for the commission, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

What I Won't Draw

- NSFW (non-sexual nudity and gore okay)
- Furries
- Photorealism
- Images that may be harmful to groups of minority, ethnic or religious groups, etc.

Process

As an estimate, I take about three weeks to finish. This time range can be extended if multiple revisions are made, or if our schedules are busy.1) Fill out the Google Form linked above.
- If you don’t receive a reply, the slots have already been filled.2) I'll contact you directly and confirm commission details.
- At this stage, if you are able to provide a sketch or references of your ideas, (though not necessary) this would be much appreciated!
- I will make thumbnail sketches to confirm the look of your piece3) Payment to be made upfront. I won’t start the pencil sketch until this is fulfilled!
- Payment via PayPal is preferable, however, other payment options (Stripe, Square, etc.) are also encouraged.4) Sketch stage:
- I’ll contact you regularly to make sure you’re happy with the piece.
- Please be very clear if you’d like me to fix anything at all.5) Lining:
- Few revisions can be made after this; however, I may be able to add more details if desired.6) Colouring:
- Expect the base colours to be lighter or duller than how they’ll be in the final piece.
- At this point, I will be able to make very few revisions.7) If you're ordering the physical painting, I’ll send it to you after we confirm your shipping address! If you've ordered a digital file commission, I'll send the final to your email (PNG or JPEG)!
